Half a glass of lemonade, half a glass of lager and you’re done. Shandies are probably one of the easiest cocktails that you can whip up. They’re pretty good too, as long as you use the right lager.
I’ve learned Pilsner blends easily and tames the sweetness of the lemonade, while lager beers like Heineken just make it all too bitter.
Shandies also have a low alcohol content. This might be why many post-partiers choose shandies as their “hair of the dog” Sunday brunch brew.
